Our day begins by glorifying and praising God when all of us recite Surah Al Fatiha together during the assembly time. At about noon, kids eat their lunches and then have recess in the playground for about 20 minutes. Students pray Zuhr and may accompany their parents to Salatul Jummah on Friday. After praying, students in Pre-Kindergarten take an hour nap before their parents come to pick them up while students in Kindergarten and higher grades engage in other educational or artistic activities.

The curriculum of IAT consists of the following: Language Arts, Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, Computer Science, Arabic, Islamic Studies, Hifz Program, and Islamic Arts & Crafts.

All subjects outside of the Arabic and Islamic Studies courses, are based upon the Texas Standardized public school curriculum as mandated by Texas Education Agency to ensure competitiveness and favorable interschool transferability. All courses, however, are taught from an Islamic based perspective. Individual teachers often provide supplemental materials that present the Islamic perspective and are structured according to current lesson topics.

The school currently provides activities designed to promote and enhance the intellectual, social, emotional, spiritual, and moral growth of an individual. Additionally, the school provides:
