Illuminated Academy Of Texas seeks to train children to be righteous and who will in turn promote righteousness. We not only teach children the skills they will need to make a living, but more importantly we strive to ensure that each child incorporates Islamic values and traditions in every facet of their lives. Our children’s challenging future will require them to be adults whose moral and spiritual values serve as the foundation of good judgment and spiritual commitment.  If we free the minds and bodies of our students from evil and corruption but leave them spiritually illiterate, we will produce people without Muslim character, the love and fear of Allah, and the love of Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon him).  It is the firm conviction of Illuminated Academy Of Texas that in order to develop solid Muslim character, education must be presented through an Islamic context.

Our curriculum is designed to help each student advance as rapidly as possible, yet places no student under undue pressures that would result in frustration. It is the intent of IAT to help the student develop moral character and proper habits of study with a planned and varied program.

The primary concerns of the companions of Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon him) and our righteous forefathers in the education of their children were the love and fear of Allah and the love of Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon him) and his Sunnah. The administration and parents of IAT share the same concerns.

Every effort will be made to instill pride in our Islamic heritage.  Dress codes (Uniform), personal habits, and leisure-time activities are a part of the overall program in developing Islamic character through moral training.

The basic concepts of Illuminated Academy Of Texas’ educational system are Islamic in character. The Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah are the foundation of the educational program.  It is taught to develop deeper character and moral values. The Academy endeavors to provide an atmosphere that is conducive to the best Islamic living and the highest gains in knowledge, skills, and wisdom, to be used in serving Allah according to the ways shown by our beloved Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon him).

Further, it will be the purpose of the school to guide students in recognizing and distinguishing truth from falsehood and error; to learn to choose between good and best; and to teach the fundamental skills of reading, writing, mathematics, science, and independent study so thoroughly that our pupils shall be prepared for the acquisition of knowledge without hindering limitations.

The purpose and objectives of IAT are to provide opportunities for young people to become daiees (inviters) and strong leaders and to follow the delegated leadership of their peers with graciousness and a cooperative spirit. Illuminated Academy of Texas desires to send out into the world young people who shall truly be illuminated for the entire humanity in this night of darkness - confident, devout daiees and leaders.
